(New Video Post) “What is REAL Beauty?” #SelfLove

Happy Self Love Saturday!

Today I want to focus on what REAL beauty is and where it comes from? In my opinion the only way to achieve Real beauty is to start from the inside out. That means the kind of foods that we put in our bodies to help us take care of ourselves! There are lots of different healthy foods that can you eat to decrease stress and boost your mood all while making your skin, hair and body better as well!

Enhancing my diet and making it healthier has been a mission of mine for a while and I can honestly say that taking the time to research foods, and make a conscious effort to improve my diet has paid off greatly for me. My skin and hair is better and most importantly my mood is better and my body now craves fruits and vegetables on a regular basis. Self love is about taking care of your self in every way possible and your diet is very important and can make or break the quality of your life because health is wealth! Check out the video below and take a look at your diet, hopefully it’s heading in the right direction. Happy Self Love Saturday!

(New Video Post) My Crowd Funding Experience for CulturalGrassRoots.com

Hey guys!

I was recently approached by s guy named Marlin Adams who told me about a very cool new site called CulturalGrassRoots.com .

CulturalGrassroots.com, is a proposed Crowd Funding portal that will serve as a support platform for entrepreneurial projects that have as their goal, increasing the competitiveness of the Black world through knowledge, creativity, innovation, and control of the economy of our own existence.

It’s a pretty dope site and I love anything that is working to help create more opportunities for people of color! Since this is a site about crowd funding, Marlin asked me to speak about my own experience with crowd funding and I was totally down to do it, check out the video below and learn a little more about my experience.

(New Video Post) Letting Go of the Negatives with a List #SelfLove

Happy Self Love Saturday!

When I really started to get serious about my self love journey I created two lists, 1. that was filled with my doubts, fears and insecurities and the other that was filled with my strengths and solutions to all those negatives. When I was complete I ripped up my negative list and kept my positive one and it has truly helped me to let go of all of the negative things that were living inside of me and just focus on the good stuff! I posted the positive list on my wall and I read it as often as a can to remind me of all the good traits I have, to confirm all of the goals that I have  and to truly let go of any of the negative thoughts that I had holding me back. I strongly suggest you try this exercise out and see what happens. Happy Self Love Saturday!

(New Video Post) “Finding YourSelf” #SelfLove with @MayasWorld & @BestNewActress

Happy Self Love Saturday!

I’m in sunny Los Angeles and I asked my friends Maya Washington and Iman Milner to join me on this lovely Saturday by asking them, “how did you find yourself?” I believe a big part of self love is finding yourself, when you begin to find yourself you immediately start a self love journey and also in starting a self love journey you can begin to find yourself so pretty much one hand washes the other and both parts play a big role in being true to yourself and having self love! Have you found yourself yet? And how did you do that?

(New Video Post) I am Inspired by @ClaudiaIris_ 21, Cancer Survivor

Near the end of every month I’ll be introducing you guys to people who have inspired me with their own personal triumph, today I want to introduce you to Claudia Iris.

I hadn’t met Claudia in person before doing this interview with her but her story inspired me so much that I had no choice but to reach out and meet her. I used to see her facebook status updates all the time and one day was shocked when I read that she was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer! Throughout her sickness I was amazed and glad to see how incredibly positive, open and honest she was about her cancer and her strong belief that she was going to beat this disease and live the life that she wanted! Well she beat the cancer and now her mentality is stronger than ever. Thank you to Claudia for allowing me to speak with her and to Salon 718 for letting us use the space! Check out the interview I did with her below.
