Happy Self Love Saturday!!!

I did it! Woop! Woop! Completed the 21 Day Detox and look and feel great! Like seriously, so much more energy, focus and positivity was brought into my life over the last 21 days. My next challenge is a 5 day raw challenge, I’ll only be eating raw vegetables and fruits and nuts, seeds, juices and smoothies. Writing it out, it sounds pretty extreme lol but it’s only for 5 days and I really want to cleanse my system in every way possible so I’m excited for the challenge. Hey guys!

I’m officially on Day 7 of the 21 Day Detox, you’ll see a recap of my day in tomorrow’s #SelfLoveSaturday video but for now catch up on Days 4-6 with me. So far the challenge is going well, I’m still craving donuts, cupcakes and cookies but I’m keeping strong and not having them. I’m also recognizing how often my brain/body trys to sabotage me by telling me “it’s okay to cheat…just have one” etc etc. The mantra “don’t cheat yourself” keeps going around in my head like a loop and it’s working! Hey ya’ll!

How are you? How has your week been? I’ve been working on a Short Film about Self Love and it is giving me everything I need in this time, spiritually and creatively! God’s timing is always perfect and he knew I needed to be working on this project at this time.

I also watched a really great Tony Robbin’s video that you can check out HERE about his Rapid Planning Method and getting results. This video made me truly step back and ask myself “am I getting the results I wants and if not what do I need to do differently?” Doing the same thing all the time and expecting a different result is the epitome of crazy and I’m always checking myself to make sure I’m not crazy lol. My girl Fran aka Hey Fran Hey has got THE BEST tips for enhancing your beauty the natural way! She put me on to Coconut Oil and my hair and nails have never been better and I wouldn’t have used Kinky Curly Leave In Conditioner if she didn’t take me to Ricky’s and literally put it in my hands! I trust her, the girl knows what she’s talking about! So I was very happy this morning to find her latest video (youtube.com/heyfranhey) on how to grow your eyebrows and eye lashes the natural way! My eye brows have always been very sparse and if I don’t fill them in, I practically have nothing at all. In Fran’s latest video she suggests using Jamaican Black Castor Oil and Rosemary Essential Oil and an empty mascara bottle and just apply them the same way you would a deep conditioner to your hair.  It looks very simple and she says if you don’t have those oils (which are the best choices) then you can use Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil or Aloe Vera. Keep in mind she points out this is no over night success and but you can expect to see results within a 3-4 month period, which is what I expected. Today I want to focus on what REAL beauty is and where it comes from? In my opinion the only way to achieve Real beauty is to start from the inside out. That means the kind of foods that we put in our bodies to help us take care of ourselves! There are lots of different healthy foods that can you eat to decrease stress and boost your mood all while making your skin, hair and body better as well!

Enhancing my diet and making it healthier has been a mission of mine for a while and I can honestly say that taking the time to research foods, and make a conscious effort to improve my diet has paid off greatly for me. My skin and hair is better and most importantly my mood is better and my body now craves fruits and vegetables on a regular basis. Self love is about taking care of your self in every way possible and your diet is very important and can make or break the quality of your life because health is wealth!
