Hey guys!

Happy Self Love Saturday! I’m really excited for 2016 because this is going to be the year of my best body!

If you follow me on Social Media then you know that I have started both a #30DayYogaChallenge at Bikram Yoga LA and a #30DayBodyTransformation Challenge online with trainer Luke Stedmond . I am really going to be pushing myself in these next couple months to not only achieve my dream body but to also form healthy habits that will last the rest of my life. This year #SelfLoveSaturday will focus on Rejuvenating and Reinventing Yourself as I’ll be documenting my process and giving tips as often as I can on my journey, what I’m going through and how I am surviving. The first thing I am most excited about is that I’ve finally pushed myself to become a morning workout person in order to accomplish all of physical activity in the day and not be tempted to get lazy because the sun is down. I am not normally an early riser but its important to me to reach out of my comfort zone and give myself a fair chance to achieve my goals. I strongly encourage you to join me on this journey and push yourself this year to rejuvenate your self love journey by reinventing yourself! #30DayBodyTransformation

Follow @Luke.Stedmond

3-4 Days/week of Cardio (preferably fasted HIIT, wake up drink some water and then go do your high intensity interval training cardio for 20-30 minutes)

5 days/week of weight training, alternating between legs and abs, arms and shoulders, and full body work outs

Nutrition:

Upon waking: 500 ml water, half lemon, teaspoon apple cider vinegar

POST CARDIO:

1⁄2 cup of steel cut oats

1.5 scoop new zealand whey isolate

1⁄2 avocado

1/2 tbsp Almond Butter

Ice/water

MEAL #2

4-6 oz white fish: basa, tilapia etc

1 cup greens (broccoli, spinach, rapini, asparagus, or any combo of sort)

1 scoop BCAA

 MEAL #3

6 oz white fish

1cup greens (broccoli, spinach, rapini, asparagus, or any combo of sort)

MEAL #4

6 oz white chicken breast

1⁄4 sweet potatoe

1 cup greens (broccoli, spinach, rapini, asparagus, or any combo of sort)

 Cheat Meal

Burger – No fries.

#30DayYogaChallenge 

Many yoga studios offer a 30 day special or introduction program, find your local studio and inquire. I strongly suggest hot yoga as it is very challenging but it also feels great to sweat and wake your body up in this way. To cut down on costs, go to groupon and look for deals within your area. This is also a great incentive to get started because, who doesn’t love a good deal!

Hey guys!

On today’s #SelfLove Video I want to talk to you about getting started on your 2016 goals and plans. I don’t believe in starting your new year resolutions on January 1st, instead I think you should begin your new year resolutions by no later than Dec 1st! Get started on your year early! For me, by time Canadian Thanksgiving hits (early October) I’m already planning what I want my next year to look like. The daydreaming and planning process is one of my favorite things to do, whether writing it down, building a new vision board or simply watching Ted Talks to gain inspiration, it was one of the most relaxing and fulfilling things you can do for yourself to prepare you for next year. Happy Self Love Saturday!

Hey guys, sorry I’ve been M.I.A over the last few weeks but I’ve been working, learning,  living and gaining more inspiration for the next level of my self love journey. Over the last few months I’ve been feeling more and more like my life is in a transition into a new chapter, everything I’ve done has been pushing me to make stronger decisions, take more risks and to go with my gut on decisions that have been lingering on my heart. It’s a good time but its scary too.

Being on my self love journey has allowed me to recognize when life is trying to teach me something and peel back another layer on who I am as a woman. Like I said it’s a good time but it’s very scary as well, but I realize that if it doesn’t scare you than it’s not worth it. So the best thing to do is embrace that fear, hold on tight and trust that you’re going to be glad you did it because you’re growing into something better! Today I want to talk to you about cherishing the moment while dating! This is something that I find very challenging because I love to day dream, especially when I have crush lol. But I try my best to live in the moment on a day to day basis, so I need to put the same effort into my “dating life”. It’s a work in progress but I find living in the moment helps you to focus on what’s important and not get anxiety, stress, mood changes and a lot more. Happy Self Love Saturday and Happy 4th of July for all of my American Friends! Today I want to talk to you about the importance of your energy and words and how what you think and feel is exactly what you get back. Before the summer started, I put “out there” (ie. multiple conversations and thoughts) that I want to bring more exciting adventures and energy into my life, I wanted to meet interesting people and have more of a social life. And in the past couple months that is EXACTLY what has come back to me in every way and I’m loving it, so with that I have learned another important life lesson. You have to be very aware of the energy that you are putting out into the world and make sure that it is exact and positive because it will definitely come back to you! Hey guys today I want to talk to you about focus and the importance of staying focused when you’re dealing with a lot of BS and crazy stuff. Over the past month I’ve had a lot of tests and had to deal with a bunch of unexpected foolishness. But honestly I’ve been able to keep my focus because at the end of the day I’m after a certain level of success and so as much as the little bumps in my journey are annoying, I’m able to deal with them because I’m focused on the big picture. Today I want to talk to you about the importance of enjoying your own company. Diane Von Furstenberg has a great quote that I live by “You’re always with yourself so you might as well enjoy the company”. It’s very important to be able to feel secure and at peace with being alone and being on a self love journey can really help with that. When you have self love you find comfort in your own company and outside factors don’t shake your confidence or happiness or control you. Since being on my self love journey I have more of an understanding of being my own company and enjoying the moments I have alone. Check out the video below and enjoy this beautiful Saturday!
