Tonight I was apart of a great discussion on Crowd Funding in the Black Community hosted by Reality Crowd TV and Marlin Adams of CulturalGrassRoots.com . Myself along with Roger Madison, publisher and founder of iZania.com , Alex McConduit, creator of FundDat.com and DeShuna Spencer, publisher and founder of emPowerMagazine.com got the chance to discuss the dos and don’t’s of crowd funding and what we need as a community to expand and truly benefit from the crowd funding model. All of these people are brilliant and doing something progressive and awesome for people of color so I was very honored to be in a discussion with them, thank you again to Marlin and Manolis and Jessica for including me, I had a great time! Check out the full discussion below.
(New Video Post) My Crowd Funding Experience for CulturalGrassRoots.com
Hey guys!
I was recently approached by s guy named Marlin Adams who told me about a very cool new site called CulturalGrassRoots.com .
CulturalGrassroots.com, is a proposed Crowd Funding portal that will serve as a support platform for entrepreneurial projects that have as their goal, increasing the competitiveness of the Black world through knowledge, creativity, innovation, and control of the economy of our own existence.
It’s a pretty dope site and I love anything that is working to help create more opportunities for people of color! Since this is a site about crowd funding, Marlin asked me to speak about my own experience with crowd funding and I was totally down to do it, check out the video below and learn a little more about my experience.
